aterese and West Livaudais Jr. MD, owners of The
Inn at Champoeg, have been married for over thirty years. During that time, they
raised four children and several dogs. Part of their early married life was
spent in Europe where travel and the opportunity to sample the menus of many
diverse restaurants and visit many small "guest houses" provided part of the
impetus to create a unique destination resort. We enjoy the outdoors and
gardening, using these efforts to enhance an herb garden that provides a
resource when we experiment in the kitchen. Fine food and wine have always been
a favorite of ours, and we like to take opportunities to experiment with both.
